TetraGuard is a treatment of bacterial enteritis in show pigs caused by Escherichia coli and Salmonella choleraesuis and bacterial pneumonia caused by Pasteurella multocida susceptible to chlortetracycline and for the control of swine dysentery associated with Brachyspira (formerly Serpulina or Treponema) hyodysenteriae susceptible to tiamulin.
Feeding Directions
Mix 1lbs of Tetraguard with 50lbs of complete swine feed to make a Type C medicated feed supplying 400G/Ton of Chlortetracycline and 35G/Ton of Tiamulin Hydrogen Fumerate. Feed the resulting complete Type C medicated feed at a rate of 0.05lbs/pound of bodyweight/day to supply 10mg of Chlortetracycline/lb of bodyweight/day. Feed continuously as the sole ration to finishing swine for 14 days.
